If our late Michael Jackson is still alive, today will mark his 51st birthday. He may be an eccentric but his talents & passion for music were undeniable.

As usual, I have been working long hours everyday includg Saturday. I'm stuck in a job with no work life balance & is beginning to ponder how long can I 'tahan'. I don't mind fetching just the basic salary cos I very much want to have more personal time to do the things I like.

Three months (coming to four) on the job and a recent conflict I had with my supervisor appears to have sour the work relationship v.badly. I gave a suggestion on how to prevent similar incident from happening again & she got so agitated upon reading that email. No harsh words were used & I did emphasize that I'm not putting any blame on her. She, on the other hand, walked up to my cubicle & started defensing herself. My feedback was that for urgent & important matters, she may want to tell me directly then to rely on emails. Of course, she didn't take it positively & said that she cannot afford to remember everything nor to remind me. Hence, in order to protect herself & to prove that she has communicate with me, she sent an email (which is a super lengthy one) that even my co-worker thought no action is required from both of us.

Frankly speaking, after that incident, she has been bearing grudges against me. She went ahead to do my work w/o informing me & didn't help much with the class test invigilation yesterday. I took the attendance for 59 students single-handedly while she sat at the back of the LT. After collecting all the test scripts, she snatched away what was on my hand & asked me to re-count her stack. This just goes to show how narrow-minded this kind of person is. Anyhoo, I don't give a damn. I will just do my work & if there is a better job opportunity, I will move on.

I regretted drinking Pepsi after having a sumptuous nasi briyani lunch today.

Now I couldn't stop coughing =(

ARGH!!!!! This is sooooo irritating!!!!!

It means Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. This is the 2nd time in a month I got infected again. My throat gets inflammation after prolonged exposure to smoke. That includes passive smoking as well.

I was down with one day MC yesterday and imagine going on 3 days MC in the month of July have certainly made me felt bad enough.

I'm going to shop for Vitamin C to boost my immune system & most importantly, I will strive to have lotsa rest. At least long enough for my body to recuperate.

Not much to blog about myself lately, yup, sick and down bogged down with work (the usual). If I can think of more interesting stuff to write, I'll blog more often =)

I need to brace myself for another week of late nights...

I'm beginning to dread sacrificing my weekends & my personal time. This is coming to the 4th week in a row. Help!!! Someone please rescue me!!!

P/S: I really enjoyed the hunt for great steals from the Thrift Store @ Salvation Army. I bought a bag for $16 & my hairdressers commented that its v.pretty! I can't wait to check out the flea market soon!

I have worked a total of 124.75 hours for the past 11 days.

You can imagine how much I'm deprived from sleep everyday & the amount of work that needs to be done is in hundreds!

I'm going to knock off early today to discuss my Bangkok trip with my parents. Hopefully we can go.

Hey Peeps,

I know it has been a long while since my last blog entry. I had a roll with my brother & now, I have stopped talking to him completely. He always have issues with me using his laptop cos my laptop is badly infected with trojan virus. Now, I couldn't login to my Windows at all. I merely borrowed from him to transfer & sent photos on a Sunday afternoon but it took me more than 3 hrs to get it done. His laptop especially his IE was particularly lagged due to the programmes he has downloaded & he accused me of finding excuses to extend my usage.

Thats the story & once I get my laptop fixed, I will be able to access the net during weekend.

Work wise, I'm coping fine =) Don't worry. I'm gradually getting used to waking up at 5.30am & leaving my house by 7.10am.

I have lotsa events this week. Will blog about it again. Cheers!

I had a long & tiring Saturday but it was really fun! Having toured Stamford House after trying out Makeup Forever's products, I didn't realize that I was not allowed to take photos of the building until a shopowner informed me. By then, I was abt to leave for the Pink Dot event already.

We went to Pearl Centre for dinner at Happy Realm & I ended my day with Joanne for a karaoke session. I'm keeping my entry short today cos my brother is chasing me off his laptop. The transferring & sending of photos have took me nearly 3 hours!
